On Saturday, we went to this pastry shop to get cupcakes to bring to this random Girl-Scouts party. The line was quite long. I don't particularly like cupcakes so I wasn't that excited, but then I spotted these infinitely delicious looking fruit tarts on display:
I was like: YUMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
So I got one, and I ate the whole entire thing myself--nobody else in my family wanted a piece of it. I think it was one of the yummiest fruit tarts I have ever eaten. But now that I think about it, probably every fruit tart I have ever eaten was one of the yummiest fruit tarts I have ever eaten. So yeah.
Then yesterday my dad and I went on a bike ride along these bike trails near the highway that apparently used to have trolleys on them (!!!) and along the way we stopped at this tiny little convenient store where I got a Kit-Kat and my dad got Twizzlers. We sat down to eat them on a bench at a random park we found along the trail. There was a table, but it was slanted and covered in leaves, and it was weirdly far off to the left instead of being right in between the two benches.
When I opened up my Kit-Kat, I noticed that the chocolate was totally melted and smeared all over the inside of the wrapper! The remaining wafer parts of the Kit-Kats were submerged in the giant blob of chocolate. I basically ended up having to fish out the wafers from the chocolate and lick the wrapper. By the end I had extremely chocolatey fingers.
